Immunoglobulin Therapy

Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is one kind of antibody found in blood plasma. People suffering from immunodeficiency diseases, whether primary or secondary, often benefit from immunoglobulin replacement therapy, also known as IVIg or SCIg. The IgG can be given intravenously (IVIg) or in the tissue under the skin (subcutaneous, SCIg). Both methods are effective at replacing IgG to levels necessary to fight infections.

Valley Vital Care makes it possible for patients to receive immunoglobulin replacement therapy outside of hospital settings.  We at Valley Vital Care are proud to staff one of nation’s few (less than 700 in the nation) Immunoglobulin Certified Nurses.  Our experienced and knowledgeable staff brings clinical excellence and comprehensive infusion services to patients in the most comfortable and convenient ways possible.  Whether therapy is administered intravenously or subcutaneously, our immunoglobulin trained nurses and pharmacists deliver superior care and monitor outcomes to optimize patient care and convenience.  As a member of the Immunoglobulin National Society, Valley Vital Care is committed to abiding by and practicing the standards put forth by the Immunoglobulin Society.
