Vital Care clinicians work closely with your team of health care providers in delivering safe and coordinated immunoglobulin (IgG) therapy.
Immune Globulin (IgG) is a sterile solution of concentrated antibodies extracted from healthy donors which is administered into a vein or under the skin. Immunoglobulin infusion therapy is used to treat disorders of the immune system, disorders of the neurological system, or to boost a patient’s immune response to a serious illness. This type of therapy can also be used to treat immunosuppressed recipients of bone marrow transplants.
Vital Care coordinates IgG therapy with the patient’s physician, local nursing agencies, and family members throughout the entire course of therapy on a case-by-case basis. Our clinical team will monitor treatment, help control side effects, provide patient education materials and be available for any patient questions/issues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
As your community’s home infusion pharmacy, Vital Care offers our patients a comfortable way to receive this necessary treatment. With the patient at the center of our work, we strive to ensure high-quality care, satisfaction and patient support.
